SPRING CONFERENCE Session 1
SPRING CONFERENCE Session 1

4 September 2015 Friday 7:30 p.m. GOD BUILDS HIS CHURCH: While we co-labour with Him, this is primarily God's work. While these are the Acts of the Apostles, they are even more truly the Acts of God. We surveyed five remarkable instances from Acts 9-13 where God directly works to build and protect His church, and carry His kingdom forward, sovereignly doing what we could never do.

5 September 2015 Saturday 9:30 a.m. GOD BUILDS HIS CHURCH BY THE PREACHING OF CHRIST AND CONVERTING GRACE: In Acts 9-15, a passage covering some 15 years in the history of the early church, we see that the church is built by the preaching of Christ to both Jews and Gentiles. The Person and work of Jesus Christ was central to their message, and must be to ours. And, as they preached this 'good news' God worked to 'convert' and 'turn' people from their 'idols' to Himself. - Speaker Rob Harrod

6 September 2015 10:30 a.m. THE WIDER WORK: GOD'S GRACE SEEN AND ENCOURAGED: Looking at how God planted, strengthened and used the church at Antioch, we learn the importance of both labouring selflessly and energetically where the Lord has placed us, and also having a deep and real, prayerful and practical interest in the work of the gospel in other places. - Speaker Rob Harrod
