Short message for our Baptismal Evening Service.
Pastor Ian spoke of the correlation between the symbolism of baptism and the days of Noah. The water symbolises the wrath of God. Just as Noah and everyone in the Ark were rescued from the flood, baptism symbolises our rescue from the wrath of God through Christ (our Ark) upon whom it was poured out when He died on the cross.
