There are high costs for following Christ but they pale into insignificance when compared to the blessings. There is an infinitely higher cost in NOT folowing Christ. The cross is heavy but we are promised grace and strength to carry it. Jim Elliott said: He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose."
