THE DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION OF CHRIST  Luke 23:26-24:12

SERIES INTRODUCTION: Paul tells us that the death, burial and resurrection of Christ are the foundational truths that make up our faith, 1 Cor. 15:3-4, ‘For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.’  In this series of messages, using Luke’s gospel we will be zooming in on those events once again.  Here we will see again the love and the holiness of God; the humanity and the deity of Christ; the sinfulness of sin and the majesty of God.
